LOU give the player the possibility to interact with objects in the environnment and set them in an inventory that is accessible via a cross menu.
By adding the prefabs to your game, you simply need to add your own textures and objects informations. Easy right?
This asset is inspired by the UI of the game "The Last Of Us"
You can add the following information for the object that is interactable with the player:
- Is an item for the inventory
- Max ammo
- Icon of the item
- Distance to be able to grab an item
For the Cross Menu and the UI:
- Type of icon to show when the player is near of an interactible item
Textures
- 2 grab icon cursor : outline and filled(Sprite (2D and UI) as texture type)
- Textures used for the menu (Sprite (2D and UI) as texture type)
- A border texture for the selected item
- A background texture for each item
- Textures sample for the weapons (Sprite (2D and UI) as texture type)
- Bottle
- Revolver
- Handgun
- Machinegun
Scripts
- Scripts used for the item and the inventory (Item Interaction)
- Scripts used for the Cross Menu
The demo scene does not contain the character (mixamo) asset.
All the textures sample can be used in your game but they are essentially only used as example in this pack
